The following are our Terms & Conditions.

To confirm your reservation, we kindly request full payment at the time of booking.  This avoids forgotten balance payments and ensures a smooth, secure stay for all guests.

All prices are listed in euros (€), and we kindly ask that payments be made in euros.  You’re welcome to view approximate prices in US dollars or UK pounds using the currency selector at the top of the page.  Final charges may vary slightly based on your bank’s exchange rate and any associated fees.  The exact amount will be confirmed during checkout.

We understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness for all guests and allow us to manage our calendar effectively, we kindly ask you to review the following terms:

Our standard check-in time is from 4:00 pm, and our check-out time is 10:00 am; but we totally understand practical travel plans!  If the gîte is clean and unoccupied the night before, we’ll do our best to welcome you earlier.

If you want an early start to your day or would prefer a lazy breakfast before you depart, then please give us a call in advance, and we’ll let you know what’s possible—we always try to be flexible where we can.

A refundable security deposit of €250 is requested on arrival (cash, cheque, or bank transfer). It will be returned within 7 days of departure, after inspection.  Minor breakages are part of life — we only retain the deposit in case of significant damage or excessive cleaning.

For the well-being and comfort of all our guests, smoking is not permitted indoors. This includes guest rooms and all shared indoor spaces.  A cleaning fee may apply if smoke is detected inside.  Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy and fresh environment.

Your safety is our priority.

A carbon monoxide sensor, smoke detector, fire blanket, and CO₂ fire extinguisher are provided for your safety.  Please familiarise yourself with their location and general fire precautions provided in the Guest Handbook upon arrival.  If you notice anything that seems unsafe, let us know right away — together we keep Chez Artagnan peaceful and secure for all.

Please use the BBQ responsibly and never leave it unattended.  Charcoal and Firelighters are provided.  Any other fire is not permitted.

Bed linen and towels are provided for your comfort.

We kindly ask guests to leave the gîte in a tidy, respectful condition upon departure.  You can find the checkout details in the Guest Handbook situated in the gite.

As much as we adore animals, we’re unable to accommodate pets at Chez Artagnan.  Some of our guests have allergies, and we want everyone to breathe easy—humans and musketeers alike!
